Text messages

Tack On is a product of Tack On LLC. Text messages from Tack On are sent by Tack On LLC through our messaging provider, Telnyx.

What we text

Only one-time verification codes, and only when you ask for one by entering your mobile number on a request and tapping “Text me a code.” The code confirms that the number the pro you pick will call is yours. We don’t text sign-in codes (those come by email), and we don’t send status updates, reminders, lead offers or marketing by text. This is not a marketing program.

When you pick a pro for your request, they receive your phone number and may call or text you about it from their own phone. Those calls and texts come from the pro, not from Tack On. If you asked them to stop and they don’t, email support@tackon.io.

How often

One message each time you ask for a code. If you confirmed the same number with us in the last year, we don’t text you again.

Sample message

“Your Tack On code is 123456”

The code expires in 10 minutes. Never share it; Tack On will never ask you for it.

Help and stopping texts

If you don’t want a text from us, don’t enter your number or tap “Text me a code”; we won’t send one. For help, or to have your number removed, email support@tackon.io; we act on requests promptly and in any case within 10 business days. Message and data rates may apply. Tack On LLC doesn’t charge for messages. US mobile numbers only.

Privacy

We use your mobile number to send the code and to let the one pro you pick contact you about that request. We never sell your number or share it with anyone else for marketing or promotional purposes, and your text opt-in and consent records are never shared. See our Privacy Policy.
