Tack On Pro
$20 per exclusive lead. Nothing else.
Homeowner requests near you, sent to every eligible pro at the same time. Accept one and it is yours alone. No subscription, no commission, no monthly minimum.
How leads work
See it before you pay
The job type, a rough area and distance, timing, the description and blurred photos. The price is fixed at $20 and never changes while you decide.
First to accept wins
Our server records the first valid acceptance. If someone beat you to it, you are not charged.
Exclusive means exclusive
Once you accept, nobody else can buy that request. Exclusivity ends when the job is done or closed, if a missed contact deadline lets the homeowner ask for someone else, or after 7 days (urgent) or the service window plus 3 days (scheduled).
What you pay
$20 per accepted lead
Charged to your saved card the moment you accept. Losing a race costs nothing. You can set daily and weekly spend limits.
Free to join
No sign-up fee, no subscription, no commission on the jobs you win. You agree your price with the homeowner.
If a lead turns out to be bad, for example a disconnected phone number or a duplicate request, you get your $20 back.
What you need to join
Tack On is for Texas businesses holding the state license for their trade. We check every license against TDLR or TSBPE records.
| Trade | The business | The people you send |
|---|---|---|
| Plumbing | A plumbing company with a Responsible Master Plumber on TSBPE records. A solo master plumber registers as an RMP. | Each plumber who goes out holds an active TSBPE license. Apprentices can’t be sent alone. |
| Electrical | A Texas Electrical Contractor license (TECL) from TDLR, with its master of record confirmed. | Each electrician holds an active TDLR license: Master, Journeyman or Residential Wireman. |
| Heating & AC | A TDLR A/C Contractor license, plus general liability insurance that we confirm with your insurer or agent before you can buy leads. | Each technician is a TDLR Registered or Certified A/C Technician working under your license. |
- Everyone verifies their identity with a government ID and a live selfie.
- A saved card is required before you can accept leads, so a claim settles in seconds.
- Company owners invite their technicians, choose who can accept leads, and set spend limits. The company card pays.
Contact deadlines
Homeowners choose Tack On because someone gets back to them. After you accept, make first contact within 5 minutes for urgent jobs, 15 minutes for same-day jobs, or 2 business hours for scheduled ones. You only get urgent offers while you have switched yourself to Available, and you can pause offers while driving.
