The Texas license behind every HVAC pro
Issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
The company
In Texas, air conditioning and refrigeration work is done under a TDLR A/C Contractor license (Class A or B). Before an HVAC company can accept leads on Tack On, we confirm its liability insurance with the insurer or agent, not just an uploaded certificate.
The person who comes out
The technician who comes out is a TDLR Registered or Certified A/C Technician working under that company’s license.
What you will see
When a pro accepts your job you will see the company, its A/C Contractor license number, the technician’s registration, and the date we last checked TDLR records.

If it's an emergency
When requests open, Tack On will ask about hazards like these first. For gas, fire, smoke or live sparking we show safety steps and wait until you confirm everyone is safe before any pro is contacted.
